The Society was formed in 1998 by a group of enthusiasts determined to research, record and later publish the history of the village. The first major project undertaken by the Society was to commission a professional production company to create a 45 minute film covering the past 1200 years of Wrotham's history.
Prepared for the Wrotham Historical Society to mark the Millennium, this fascinating video, relating the history of Wrotham from the earliest written record in 788 AD to the present day, is now available on DVD.
